What If I ask you,"Are you happy with your life?''
Walking at the edge of the beach on a fine day in Pondicherry, I asked myself, am I happy with my life?
Living at an age when running against time is mandatory; how much time do we truly get to embrace what we have? Can't we just love our imperfect life? Why do we always run for the things that matter lesser than the cost of our happiness?
As I was looking for the answers while roaming around the beach, my eyes got stuck on a family. They were giggling, jumping, playing, and most importantly living their life to the fullest.
There were nothing fancy things that made them so happy-blame the cool breeze, salty sea or the hands of loved ones~they were busy making the day a remarkable one.
I sensed it as if God had given me the vision of how simply you can find peace and contentment in life. Too overwhelmed to think more, my entire evening went on contemplating finding happiness in little things.
That night my eyes were fixed on the ceiling, but my mind was traveling far away. I felt, much like the jigsaw puzzle, had all the answers in bits and pieces, but, somehow, I was unable to assemble all the pieces to produce the right picture. I was relentless and anxious. ''Is it really difficult to find the true happiness within me?" I thought while slowly slipping into the slumber.

The warm and shimmering rays of the sun cleared my mind and against all my expectations, I have found what kept me awake all night! Catching the sight of the beautiful Bay of Bengal, I realized that those pending solutions were within me right from the start.
I took a sip of a steaming hot coffee and jotted down the three major steps to grasp my inner happiness and emotional fulfillment. You don't need to do majors in rocket science to understand the steps; it's just how much you can open up your horizon to perceive it.

Amid different classes and masses, we lose our originality several times. Imitating others gives you temporary happiness. However, showcasing yourself proudly to the world initially curbs the level of your self-confidence, but, it's just a kick start; my friend! Soon, you will become the rockstar of your life.
The happiness will flow like a flooded river and trust me, playing yourself is the easiest way to find the happiness within you.
So, make sure, you must have the control to float your boat! You need to understand that following your heart is not at all selfishness. If it brings happiness to you without harming anyone, then choose your heart over your brain to find happiness in you.
As my journey came to an end in Pondicherry, I was disheartened yet contented. For the most part of this journey, I was thrilled and ecstatic with lots of memories I have made on this trip. Most importantly, I was going home with the answers searching for the years. On a final note, cut it short and do what Dalai Lama said:
“Happiness is not something ready-made. It comes from your own actions.”

Accept Who You Really Are

Don't Kill The Child Inside You
I don't brag too much about myself but I take pride in saying that I practice what I preach! Yes, I still consider myself a kid inside-out in my twenty-something age! I don't find it a shame to admit it. Nopes.
I strongly vouch for the idea that the longer you keep alive the childishness in you, the more you will stay happy! If you observe any kid around you, you will notice that they have no worries, no anxieties- enjoying life to the fullest. Sometimes, we forget to learn what a kid can teach us! Be shameless about dancing in the rain, jumping, and splashing in the water!
Listen To Your Heart
Are your parents forcing you to choose a job that you won't like to pursue? Are you under the pressure of getting married before you turn thirty? Do you want to quit your job? Many situations will crawl up to you where you will be the odd one in the even.Listen To Your Heart
